SO wants their brush guard. The county mounties in Hindsdale CO use em but we cant find out any other info than that.

Any leads would be appreciated on the name: Diamond B or similar (I think I spelled it rite). Was told they in Texas but dont know where and the county mech's dont have any info cause the state ordered them. They are heavy looking and the one we see on the bronco has like 3/8'' uprights - more than enuff to keep the animals away from the radiator. The headlite protectors are strong also. Would like to get their phone # at the least.

PS: maybe they only avail to police type users?

Thanks guys,

called the 800 for Diamond B Coleman, TX (if there is anyone who can verify their business - would appreciate it) that was on the web pics. Disconnected.

Trying to get thru to Kennedy's but line is busy... ... .

This at least gives me an excuse to drive out to Coleman (if they still in business) if someone can verify they are still in business and provide a local # (will be calling the BBB and operator for the area). She ONLY wants THAT brand(period)! BUTT, if they out-of-business then ??**&^&*^&^&&** and maybe get her "moved" to another brand.

Update:

Just got thru to Kennedy's - Diamond B moved to Dallas area and they havent been able to get in contact with them. (must have been too gud of a product - sturdy, last too long, etc)

Now need to see if anyone can locate them in Dallas region.....

I heard that diamond b went out of business because of financial problems, I hated to hear it cause they built some really stout bumpers. A good friend of mine had one of their grill guards on his 98 1 ton dodge and in the time it was on there he hit 9 deer with it [ most of them in excess of 80 mph ] and the only thing it ever did was dent the bumper a very little bit, these things are stout.

I checked with a couple of places here locally that used to carry Diamond B. Unfortunately they sang the same song... they no longer carry them.

They all did confirm Diamond B relocated to the DFW area. One went so far as to say that they quit doing business with them because of delivery times. Customer would order a bumper and it would not show up as promised.

Anyway, one place mentioned that the square tubing brush/grille guards are stronger than the round tubing ones, but only one of the other suppliers used square tubing (Ruffstock), best bet would probably be RanchHand for strength. Personally I thought that most, if not all, of the aftermarket "heavy duty" brush/grille guards were comparable in strength.

FWIW, I had a RanchHand grille guard and loved it. That grille guard bolted directly to the frame and was beefy. It weighed in at around 100 lbs. Only reason I changed was because I wanted something no one else had, and I designed my own.

Hope this helps.
