So what do you guys recommend for polishing aluminum diamond plate?

The local firefighters here use Never-dull cotton, any opinions on that?

How well does waxing the diamond plate work for reducing the need for polishing?

Thanks

After a good washing down and drying. You can use a drill and a cotton buff along with some buffing compound, doesn't take very long at all. Like the top of the tool box, bed rail covers or what ever. Just 5-10 minuets of your time and about a gallon or two on motivation.

It helps some... but I think a product called "Vivilon" would really last. Get ahold of "Barry", the moderator ot the towing hauling forum, and he can tell you all about it.

Thanks for all the input.

I'm looking at Metalwax as one product and will look at Speedy as well.

With all the diamond plate, I need a product that won't be a bear to work with.

Thanks, again.

Hey what has worked good in the past with plate aluminum... . Get some 1000grit wet sand paper and sand it with some water and soap. It makes it real shinny then spray some can clear over it. it keeps it from dulling... good luck!
