I am curious also. I had 18. 5x40's on my last non-diesel truck and loved them, but my brother got a set of 36" radials and would loose a tire on just about every trip from separation. Desert Rat got tired of warrantying them.

Send a PM message to member B KIRK as he has them on his slick looking lifted 94. He may be able to give you his thoughts... ... ... . Andy

I have them on my 2002 and like them alot. My reason for going to those after my stock tires wore down was 2 things. #1 it was E rated and #2 It had a pretty good tread pattern for snow (living in the North East I wanted something good). Also when I bought these I found online a report (I think it was 4 Wheeler Magazine) they tested them in the snow on a Tahoe and loved them.

Wear life is pretty good, I will have to check the mileage when I put them on, but they are holding up. Stock tire size, 265/75/16.

I have had 2 sets of Coopers(1st-ATR and 2nd-STT), and one set of BFG TA KO in the 315/75/16. I am 100% sure that next time I purchase a set of the 315/75/16 it will be the Dick Cepek FC-II. Looks are great and I have read on many many sites that these are good tires. This is what I am going to get!!

Well, I had to send my 37" back to Dick Cepek.

Started to get a bad shimmy that got worse.

Got to the point I couldn't go over 35 MPH.

Found out I broke the belts.

Gave me a refund since there was only 4/32" of tread worn off.

Don't know if it was caused by 4WD launches drag racing or what.

Know of some shops that quit handling them due to this same problem.

Went with 38. 5" Pro Comp Extreme AT's.

So far, so good.

These are all made by Cooper.

Pretty scary knowing I was going over 100 MPH with broken belts.
