Competition Piers Dyno Day!!!!!!!!!!!

Competition Hey Gene

Dick Cepek FCIIs

Has anyone tried these? I'm going to have to break down and get some new tires, and these sound good if they are anything like how they are advertised. I was looking at the 37x13. 50's. I know it's almost silly with tires this size, but my priorities are that they must be quiet running, wear evenly, and not give me sweaty palms from trying to keep them on the road... the trucks bad enough already. I'm hoping someone has had some real-life use from these as they are too expensive to experiment on. Thanks

Those tires are decent. I personally have not run them. I run the Super Swamper SSRs (37x12. 50R16) and they work great. :D I used to run the basic bias ply tires but got sick of them getting hot on the freeway, blowing out and coming apart. The SSRs, being radials, are very quiet on the road for as aggresive as they are. I was very surprised at how much quieter they were over the bias ply tires. But just my $0. 02.

I've tried this size FCII on a Jeep. They're a great tire! The carcass is super strong and the ones I had ran true. They are a heavy tire, though, running about 85 lbs. per tire. As an aside, they're built by Cooper Tire, the parent company of Mickey Thompson, which owns the Dick Cepek line.
