Looks like the board lost a few posts from today. Bummer. I hope it can be restored or everyone can go back and re-post their comments. Did anyone else notice or is it just me?

Burp??? I'd say looking at the posts for today that it took a major I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER #ad

BOY!!!!!... ... . That was close... I thought the Administration deleted all my responses. I was just about ready to defend myself against the "humorless hordes" that rule the roost... ... #ad

Thanks again, Scott(you know who you are)

Yah, I lost in the neighborhood of twenty posts, one of which I wish I had saved to copy back on the thread... BD at border crossing (Products Forum).

<font color = blue> There could be another "burp" real soon; I understand that the "engine" driving the TDR board will be "bombed" and member re-registration will most likely be required, so it's possible that the message/post counters could take a hit... .

Yea, the back cover of the latest TDR mentions the web site changes - 2nd paragraph under "Exciting News. " Looks like we will be exercising some patience and understanding the week of June 1-8!

Hey John, I see you've already set your truck up almost to what I'm aiming for hauling a Lance Camper. How did the Roadmaster XX's work for you? I bought some last summer but were hesitant to install them after reading a post from a fellow member. I guess you needed the air bags to make up for the removal of the overload springs? Also, were you the one that was doing an article on the Roadmaster + Firestone Airbags? Awhile ago someone posted some excellent pictures of that setup. Sorry this wasn't on the subject, but I couldn't resist after seeing your signature.

<font color = blue> Hi Bruce! to answer your questions...

(1) The Roadmasters + Firestone Airbags combo worked great for me on my trip during April from west coast to east coast USA. When I'm hauling the camper, the rears are set at position 4 and the fronts to position 3, else it's at position 2 all around, when running empty. FYI the all-up weight on the CATscales in Bordentown NJ just before I left the USA was 12,500 pounds.

(2) Yes, you're absolutely correct, I did say that I was going to put something together for the website and then I read somewhere that the TDR magazine would like more written material for those members who may not use the website, to share with a potentially wider audience and I was aware that a major site upgrade was imminent, so I thought it would be best to wait until the dust settled, especially as some of my own posts went AWOL.....

(3) I would really recommend the Rixon tires/wheels combo as they inspire confidence and made a big difference to stability and roadhandling, especially on hard, agressive turns at speeds on the freeway off/on ramps, whereas before the truck/camper combination was somewhat "sensitive" to say the least... . ;)

I'm sure we all realize and sympathize with the "teething problems" involved with new software/hardware...

But JEEZE, sometimes and in some aspects, the "new" board resembles a new Dodge with a Briggs & Stratton power source...

Lots of shine and glitter, but no POWER or SPEED...

I continue to HOPE the plusses will outnumber the minusses... ;)
