Did Turbo Life Saver Stop Truck From Starting

Hey guys,
Purchased a Geno's "Diesel Trubo Life Saver" about 2 months ago and was one of the best purchases I made for the 2001 truck. This allows me to set a time of anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes for the truck to automatically shut down. I can turn off the ignition, set the alarm and walk away with no worry. However, this morning I went to the gym and returned with no problems. I went to start the truck 1 hour later and it would not turn over. Dead! Everything worked but the starter. I came home at the end of the day and the truck started perfectly. Has anyone else had this problem? I was ready to bypass the timer kit but the truck started. Really concerned about this. Any input appreciated.

When I first installed my Turbo Life Saver I had a similar situation. It would crank the engine over, but no fire. After pulling it all back out again we found a loose connection in the main plug that interupts the starter harness. After it was clicked all the way in place everything has worked fine since then. Good luck and hope ya can find the problem. That was a terrible sinking feeling having to set in my truck and it not crank on demand.

Thanks for the info. The problem might even be in the alarm system. I just re-read the manual and it has a starter cutout system. No problems for the last week. Will keep my fingers crossed.
