Cummins 6AT 3.4--Any Good????

Cool but uuugly!!

When are these ebay JO's gonna gonna learn a picture is worth a 1000 words?? I'm sure he'll get his reserve met with only 2 pics of the outside:rolleyes:.

Anyone else notice that it says 4 cylinder 2. 5 Liter and down a little bit it says Cummins 4BTA? I coulda swore the 4bt was 3. 9L.

I think that thing was up on EBay about a month or so ago, I sent him a letter, let's see if I get a response

The reason that it has "4 cylinder 2. 5 liter" is that ebay puts that stuff up automatically via the vin number. That jeep must of originally came with a 2. 5 so when he entered the vin for it that is what came up. At an $18,500 starting bid I kinda doubt it will sell but you never know.

Guys, I'm not sure why he didn't post more pics, but the buildup is here:

He joined either here or the 4bt mailing list recently, can't remember... . Seems like a nice guy though. He put a lot of work into it.

I also found a nearly finished TJ 4bt in nearly the same condition recently(almost finished conversion) for around 15k.

wow, he needs that link in his ad, Might get the 18k he wants then...

That is one awesome Jeep, I wonder what kind of MPG he gets?

Diesel Jeep

I'm not the one selling it, just one of the guys who built it. The owner of my shop sold it to one of our customers. He definitely should have put more pictures of it in the listing to do the Jeep justice. The pictures on Ebay were from our website (my silver Ram is in the background ) He should have at least put a link to the build-up and put a reasonable starting bid. It was a 4bt, not bta and I would say the power level was closer to 200 HP(I don't do our website  )

oops...

Sorry for mixing you up, I did remember you mentioned it in the thread before, I assumed it was you.

By the way, on the Burnsville OR site, it shows pictures where the jeep was intercooled. Do you know what vehicle this intercooler came from?
