Did you see the super Moon?

Ya the moon was pretty close went to Anza Borrego Desert State Park this weekend took the Questar out to get an up close look. Moon hasn't been this close in like 18 years.

I was able to see it, but to be honest it didn't look much bigger. The way they were making it sound on the news that it was going to be huge.

It was pretty bright and easily seen. But no, it really didnt appear to be any bigger. I think it is supposed to be 14% (?) larger than its smallest appearance. So, I dont think you would really notice much of a difference since it is about the same size as its been for a least the last several weeks and longer.

I saw it! The moon was brighter and looked a little larger.



Monday morning when I was on a produce run I was diriving right at the Sun as it came up it looked like a big red beach ball.
