Went to the track Wednesday night hauled a bud's car for him and he ended up talking me into running the cummins. First I got laughed at by everyone there. (guess they're not used to seeing a 4x4 diesel truck staged up) The track is just an 1/8 mile and according to a friend's dad that drag races its very slick. I just wanted to know what some of you that race thought of a 9. 8 in an 1/8mile is it good or bad? I was just playing around and only made two runs the time is from the first one I red lighted the next time so I just put on a good smoke show. (boy do these BFG MTs smoke)



I can see how you could get addicted to drag racing. What a rush

Do you have the rest of your times and speed? Reaction time? 60ft time? and Speed in the 1/8th mile?



I have already found out you can't judge a run just by E/T, more info is needed to get a general idea of the power you can make.

You would have beat me, I only had a 10. 69 in the 1/8th mile at 73. 64mph (15. 9 secs 93. 36mph in the 1/4). I had a horrible 60ft time of 2. 881 tho, I gotta work on that once i figure out how to take off I should be in the 14's hopefully.

KatD, I can't find my time sheet been looking of it all day. I'm going to clean out my truck later today and maybe I can find it then. I would imagine that it went threw the washing machine, I'm pretty bad about that one.



Jim, She's just a granny 5spd, my mph were about 72mph. I took off in second and massed the go pedal. Did pretty well that way except the clutch slipping the second time. I don't think I have every mashed the pedal that hadr before man this thing will go.



I will try to make it back to the track before it closes and do a couple more runs. This stuff is fun, might fave to buy anouther ram just for dragin. Got to call South Bend before I do much more the stocker is going quick.
