I got a call through the traveler companion , this guy broke down , with limited tools at this point it sounds like the computer is keeping the injectors from firing , he's got 2 codes , P2269 water in fuel [ we checked - OK ] & 0652 V 2 curcit low ,
Any help ???
Thanks John MN , Hugo

ON the 0652 code have him check the fuel rail pressure (one of the connectors behind the intake horn), A/C pressure switch (no idea), MAP sensor (screwed into side of intake near filter), Camshaft position sensor (Don't know exactly)

EDIT: If this person has the ability to clear codes, have him clear the 0652 code and make s ure all connections to the above are good. Disconnect one at a time, the one that is disconnected and pops the code is the culprit. This sounds funny to me but it's right out of the service manual. If that doesn't work he has a short somewhere on pin 54 of C1 connector on the ECM. The FCA (on back of injection pump) also has a part in this getting power from pin 54.
NOTE: pin 54 supplies power from the ECM to the sensors. reading for voltage will do nothing.

My money is on the lift pump, a good friend of mine called me from the side of the road. He had these codes and a new lp got him going again.

I wish I was closer to you!

He got it on a trailer last evening , we check the lift pump , heard running and opened water drain , turned key to on , and get a good volume & pressure .
I'm leaning towards a voltage to sensors issue , then computer not firing injectors , he was going to monitor this thread when he got home to help .
