Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) dies starts right up

i have a 99 with 260000 miles repaced injector pump at 210000 miles last summer would die on me going down the road would turn key off then on while crusing and start running again would do it often this fall hade fuel pump installed in tank ran ok for awhile now doing samething again any ideas think the bad pump took out my injector pump i put on 50000miles ago/ thanks for any advice

I am having the same trouble with a 1999 dodge with about the same miles.

You need to check for codes. without starting it,cylce the key on off 3 times ending at on the 3rd time with out starting it. Read the numbers in the odometer screen and jot em down and let us know.

BigDaddyCummins... ... Hmmmmm, I was at Don Garlits Drag Race Museum last friday and saw a 1st gen dually, a 2nd gen dually, and a 3rd gen dually. All were black and had "Big Daddy" lettered in white across the tailgate in place of the Dodge Ram logo and I actually saw Mr. Garlits driving through the parking lot in one of them!

You may possibly have algae in your tank. This can partially clog the sock in the tank. Low pressure fuel delivery is a known VP44 killer.
