Knowledge about burning Vegtable oil in a Dodge

I just can't believe that diesel fuel costs $. 70 -$. 90 more than gasoline. It's ridiculous. Does anyone see this trend reversing? Or is this here to stay?

I think you better get used to it if you want to drive Diesel powered vehicles!

Several stations around here are at least $. 90/gallon HIGHER than Reg. unleaded, and it just keeps going up. I understand the truckers are going to have a "shutdown" on the 3rd of April!

over here diesel is $1. 04 MORE than 87 octane.

as i have stated in other threads, as long as china, india and other 2'nd world countries are sucking up a large portion of diesel fuel and production is not increased, we will have these high prices.

i have sent e-mails to the local TV stations, to try and get them to do a story on the dilemma that "personal" diesel vehicle owners face. i get a response like "sounds like a good story, we will look into it" and thats it. it never hits the air waves.

we are just too small a voice in this country to get any notice. it's all about gasoline prices, because the vast majority of people drive gas powered vehicles.

you either have to suck it up and buy fuel for your truck or get a different vehicle. for now, i will drive the truck. it's still more fun than driving the Caravan.

I just couldn't justify $50 a week vs $10 a week to drive my truck. So I opted for a used Honda Insight. Thanks to all who replied.
