over here diesel is $1. 04 MORE than 87 octane.
as i have stated in other threads, as long as china, india and other 2'nd world countries are sucking up a large portion of diesel fuel and production is not increased, we will have these high prices.
i have sent e-mails to the local TV stations, to try and get them to do a story on the dilemma that "personal" diesel vehicle owners face. i get a response like "sounds like a good story, we will look into it" and thats it. it never hits the air waves.
we are just too small a voice in this country to get any notice. it's all about gasoline prices, because the vast majority of people drive gas powered vehicles.
you either have to suck it up and buy fuel for your truck or get a different vehicle. for now, i will drive the truck. it's still more fun than driving the Caravan.
