Just viewed the website of Diesel Gas Australia (www.dieselgasaustralia.com) and was surprised by what seems a fairly simple mod to improve power and economy. Anyone have experience or knowledge of such systems in the US?

Gas - or propane injection systems for diesels have been around for some time - and DO give significant benefits. I had one installed on my older '91 truck, the Powershot 2000 setup. It worked well, and no complaints - I just decided to go other ways for added power on my current '02...

I heard them talking about diesel propane on a late night trucking show on the radio. It's supposed to increase the burn to 98% for each unit of fuel.

Simple. . maybe but I didn't see how much it cost to calc payback.



Looks like they run 2. 68 parts Diesel to 1 part Propane. I tried to work their ratio / economy numbers shown here as it might apply to my truck and current propane prices and came up with a . 05 cents per mile savings in operating costs. So in a years driving for me that would save me $750. 00
