Save your self some time and headaches . Do not use DCP , they sale on Ebay and seam to be very reptible shop . My pump on my 93 screwed up because of the poor workman ship . it had a bad governor shaft in it and contamination . Not from my fuel system . I pre orderd it turned up , with the spring and other tricks . When i go to pay with the credit card . They tell me
it had a problem , they would not say what it was either . Then i get a call a week or two later , ok its ready . Im not convinced it was locked in time correctly as i could never get it timed right until I had help of a fellow TDR members son Drew whom is in the navy that lives a couple hours north of me .
Came down to help me get it running , it ran great for maybe 2,000 miles if im lucky then it started acting weird reving up on start up and stumpleing etc .
So I called DCP they said mail it to us , we will send a label of corse no other pump so im not down anouther week . They said if it was before 30 days they send me to a ADS shop , none near me closest 100 miles , no way it make it . If the pump has over 30 days use reguardless if its been drove
you must send it then . If your on the road its still the same situation if you break down . you must pull it off and send it to them , no ands ifs or buts
and it dont mater if your at a Cummins dealer same story . They will not kick one cent towards your cost or down time . Also drew said the pump was not calibrated right from the shop as well . My neighbor also got a pump with issues just after me .
