Hello Friends,

After 20 years of Diesel Dodge motoring i sold my 03. I don't tow more that 3k lbs and it was overkill. Fun but a little much. I have been having reaccuring problems with my left knee so clutching is becoming a problem. Hopefully Dodge will come out with a 1/2 ton Diesel truck for the future.

Thanks to all my friends for the help and spirited suspension discussions and best to all in the future.

(hurray, no more PM's about crappy FASS problems)

Here is a pic of my Son washing it for the new owner and the obligitory pic of it driving out of me life. I am suprised he is smiling as he hated to see it go. He just got his permit and only got to drive the truck once.

Sorry to hear that Dan. That was one beautiful truck. Good luck in all your future endeavors.

sorry to hear, but i just happened to read the thread and i for some reason can't get anyone to comment on what i saw back on 7-6 as me and my father were in Winston Salem N. C. i had to go back for a dr. visit from a vehicle accident in feb. (someone wanted my side of the highway headon) anyways we were sitting waiting to get back on 421N and well we both seen it as it pulled up beside us in the next lane(side by side) a grey SLT 1500 badged dodge with a Cummins, this was a brand new truck at least 09' or 10' it was a quad cab but was a 1/2 ton not 3/4 and it has a raspy cummins sound so my guess was the V6. I am still waitin on someone to tell me i ain't nutz for seeing that.

Yes i will miss it a little. It was sold locally so i will get to see it from time to time.
Dan,I attended a get together of the Ramblin' Rams in San Marcos where Mr. Kroeker gave us the ride of a lifetime in his '03 with prototype long travel suspension. I was in the backseat holding on for dear life. The job superintendent of the construction site Kroeker invaded followed us back warning him to not repeat the stunt. I remember the expressions of the heavy equipment operators as we went flying past them. You invited him. Good luck with the knee. Dave

Dave,

That was a fun day for sure. Those guys sure had an attitude when they followed us back to the get-together until they were met with over 20 Diehard Diesel Nuts. They calmed down very quickly:-laf

Dan you're gonna miss your truck when you see the others on the road. You could go automatic.

I talked to the FASS people a couple of weeks ago and they said you had left the company. You helped me out getting my FASS warranty up and running. I thank you for that.

Take care ... you just may be back.

Mike

Kent took us straight up to where some earthmovers were working. Their eyes were definitely bugged out. On the way there and back,Kroeker was hopping the medium and going nuts. That's where I saw how much could be done with the 3rd gen platform. We had some great RR events back then.

Mike,

I was the orig "Diesel Dan" I had nothing to do with the"FASS" products. The other "Diesel Dan" was Dan McDonald. He coppied my login and threatened to sue me if i bad mouthed his FASS products.

I would repeatedly get PM's that were meant for him. I just gave my opinion on the FASS line and let it go from there. I am sure it didn't help his cause but i didn't care as he blatantly used my "handle" and had no remorse about it.

It was what it was and i decided not to let it affect me.

Life is too short to sweat the little stuff... ... ... ... .....

Yo Hoot,

Yes an underscore which dissapears because their is a line under every one's name:rolleyes:

Not a very smart plan as he never got all of his PM's. I origionally used to tell his customers they had the wrong guy until he gave me attitude/legal threats when i tried to talk to him about changing his screen name as i had it first. After that i just told them i was loosing faith in the systems considering all the pm's i got. Gee i hope that didn't hurt his business:-laf

Hey Dan, I noticed your 03 setting off Hwy 2 and Greenbluff road with the 'For Sale' sign on it. Made me sad, can only guess how you feel.

I am not selling my truck, but am leaving the State. It was a pleasure meeting you, may run into you, as I am only going about 80 miles due east, still will have lot's of family in the Spokane area, so most likely will visit often.

Be Safe, Jess

Thanks guys.

Hey Bob,

I will stay in touch. BTW i still have your OE turbo off your 94 sitting in my garage. I'll make you or anyone a heck of a deal on it. I have a Bullydog crazy Larry on a new Outlook monitor for sale as well.

Jess,

That is right by my house. Got lots of calls on it from sitting there. Everyone wanted it until they heard the price:-laf Good luck with your move and it was a pleasure to meet you as well.
