Diesel Drag races - August 18th - Salem, OH

Just noticed that this hadn't been posted here guys. The GLTDR's very own Eric McBride (Stack'd'n'Jack'd) has taken a position as the light-duty diesel coordinator for the Diesel Drag Racing Association. Some of the guys from the DDRA came to the Muncie event - the big rigs that were there. There is a DDRA race next weekend in Salem, OH (august 18th) at the Quaker City Dragstrip. The purse is $750 for street trucks and $1500 for pro street. Several of us (Eric, Tom, Wayne, and I) will be camping at the Chaparral Family campground in Salem friday and saturday nights. Too bad it's not another weekend, as I already have plans for the 18th. If you guys are back to Salem again, I have some property approx 30 minutes south of Salem, and you'd all be welcome to camp there, although it's primative. RTE 9 out of Salem runs down to Carrollton, and the property is 5 minutes out of town. Could even do a little four wheelin' if anyone was up to it. Maybe next time.

we will race on the 1/8th at schides next week, ok?
