NIsaacs said:Dang, that sucker is really coming together. Most Cummins motors have different fan drives as options. Higher, lower, left and right also different RPM. I don't think electric fans will work with that much motor. What rear axle gear are you running? Must be about a 3. 00. Also what clutch? Maybe a 14" twin disc Spicer. What size bellhousing did you settle for, it looks bigger than an SAE number 2.

Have you given thought to chopping up the radiator support to lower the radiator?
Will24 said:Doh, sorry Scott, didn't know you did the dragster chassis work! I need to move to Colorado, lol, I work for the wrong distributor, I'm ISX and N14 NOW certified, I have a whole page list of cummins training![]()
lol
How is the clearance between the front cover and the rad? Could you get away with using a hydraulic RV fan?
Truck looks awesome though

btanner said:there are several companies now making electric and hydraulic remote mount fans for truck your size and much larger. There was an article in diesel progress about two months ago covering this. I think that electric is a very sound option as is hydraulic. As for the body lift I would try to raise the bumper instead of creating a cover because it'll look a lot better that way.
