Looking for some info on these injectors if anyone has them/has used them?

I looking at buying a used set from a guy and we probably all know DD has been out of business for quite some time (now R&D for Edge). Are these injectors the 'Jammer' injectors Edge now sells? (Haven't heard to good of things about the Jammers)

Are these injectors EDM'd? How's the EGT's over stock? MPG? You get the general idea of what I'm looking for. Tried 'searching' and couldn't find much info.

Thanks in advance

I have the DDIIs on my '02. Won them at Fall Brawl '02 in PA. I don't know all the techy answers except, the smoke pretty good, they do add about 80hp and the EGTs are OK. I towed a 17K 5th wheel w/ them and always kept an eye on the EGT gauge. I like 'em.

When they came out in 1999 they were a great injector, but now with products from F1 and DDP with more R&D accumulated since then they don't stack up real great against them. More smoke for the HP. With a serious box they'll really smoke. But I think manufacturing quality wise they were very good, didn't hear of many failures or issues when tons of people ran DD2s and DD3s in the early 2000s. I had a set of 2s and they did fine. They were stock injectors extrude honed then balanced for flow and popoff pressure to within 1% of each other.

I know they are 'old school' vs. what's out there today, but hey, welcome to technological advances.

Thanks for the info, from what I have been seeing a lot of people like these injectors for the most part.

I had them on a 2000. I really liked them and used them to tow. I did have DD's Jammer Turbo though so I was flowing a bit more air. I was using them with a Comp Box.

I've got jammer 2s with stock turbo and JWA box. I wish I had gotten DDP stage 1s or RV275s. The jammer 2s seem to add a lot of heat and smoke for the given HP. The price was right, but I wouldn't do it again. I tracked my mileage every fill-up for 3 months prior to the injector install. I didn't change anthing else. Mileage with the Jammer 2s is slightly more unloaded and much less loaded than with stock injectors. I would really like to trade back to stock HO injectors or a set of good RV275s.

Huh, this is one of the few posts I have seen where someone wouldn't do it again. But I thank you for the feedback, cause I'm torn between the II's and the 275's.

Yes... . When I sold the truck... bad decision... . I had the II in it. I liked them a lot. I took the 275 out with about 30,000 miles on them. They were good, but when I wanted a larger turbo and more power, I went with the DD II's.

The smoke was about the same, but like I said, I changed the turbo at the same time. Power was also quit a bit better... . just seat of the pants... . I never had the truck dynoed.

Just a heads up I noticed here is that there are 2 DD companies

Dynomite Diesel and Diesel Dynamics, do not confuse them here.

You are ABSOLETLY correct BILLVO, exactly why I named the title with 'Diesel Dynamics'.

... and so far I believe everyone here is talking about Diesel Dynamics.
