diesel engine option

What does the diesel engine cost on the 09 dodges? My truck in 97 added 4445. 00. I just checked N. A. D. A. and it still adds 4350. 00 to a 12 year old truck. That says a lot for a cummins. I also checked what chevy and ford added. The 6. 5 turbo adds 350. 00. The ford 7. 3 turbo adds an amazing to me 4000. 00.

But don't forget the added mandatory Blue Tech emissions option separate from the engine package at $1000. 00.

I will give the 7. 3 some credit, it isn't that bad of an engine except if you want alot of power out of it.

I paid a lot extra for the 6. 7 option in my 08, something to the tune of 7,000 IIRC

That would be about right after the 6. 7 CTD, and Blu tech options.

thanks for the replies! A guy at work said you probably pay a couple of thousand more for the diesel option. I said oh no my 97 was almost 4500. I figured it was well over 8000 by now. If diesel was cheaper than gas I bet it would be.
