Diesel engine shut-offs???

My ram may require an engine air intake shut-off to keep operating in the Oil fields. Does any one have any information or sites to check out. Thanks

I also work in the oilfield (as a contract operator)-my truck has a Roda Deaco PAS that I purchased and installed myself. Mine is the electric model that senses RPM and shuts down without operator input if the preset limit is exceeded... ... .
