So I'm reading through this Bosch published data sheet and find some facts I don't understand.
If you know this stuff, please post up facts. I *know* JLeonard knows all this stuff, but want to give others something to chew on.
P-7100 max nozzle bar 1200
VE max nozzle bar 1200
P-7100 max engine speed min-1 2,500
VE max engine speed min-1 4,500
P-7100 injection quantity per stroke mm3 250
VE injection quantity per stroke mm3 120
P-7100 Max power per cyl KW 55
VE Max power per cyl KW 25
First Question: what is min-1 in terms of engine speed? Don't the posted figures seem a bit reversed? I mean, does the data tell us the max engine speed of a engine with the P-7100 is 2,500 rpm's????????
Second Question: what is up with the quantity of fuel injected per stoke? It depends upon the application... ... ..... !!! The Dodge truck engine is 73 to 78 mm3/stroke d epending upon the CPL so the posted figure of 120 is for what??? It don't say. Don't say that is the max amount or anyting of that matter... ...
Here it is in writing. Our pump will only produce enough fuel for 25 KW per cylinder.
What was KW again... ... ... ... ... . ???
