Diesel Fuel Pricing and Bio Diesel Availability

Starting to log and chart Diesel Fuel Pricing on a national basis and if B5 B10 or B20 is available regionally and if its any cheaper. Been watching i reports blog and has been pretty informative.

I fully agree about the gouging. About 1 1/2 yrs ago, I called a local bio retailer 'Green Leaf Bio' and they were right in line to just above the price of dino. Right now I don't remember the actual price but it was around 2. 90/gal. 2 weeks ago I called again and the price is now 4. 89/gallon. I can't imagine that the cost of supplies drove the price per gallon up that much. I know they can charge what ever they want but that just makes me #@$%!

I to thought the same thing a perfect opportunity to make bio main stream and prove they were better than the oil companies but I think there are more factors here.



One factor on B-20 that was already mentioned it is 80% Petrol and if I am not mistaken I think the price of Veggie oil has at least doubled if not tripled so that will affect the price of 100% Bio. So I guess someone else is getting rich as well, not to mention 60% of all bio produced in the US is going overseas so I am told.
