diesel progress mag

Oo. Oo. Oo. cant wait, probably be mostly geared towards the new trucks though, like with most mags. ya never see any 12v articles anymore. :{

but it still looks intresting.

looks to be "geared Towards" the racing crowd Hopefully they will have Pulling sections also Anyway I dont care Sign me up ! I wish it was Monthly tho. :<

It'll probly drop the same time as TDr then We will be over whelmed Hopefully it will FILL THE GAP ..... Like my FOUR WHEELER MAG TRYS TO DO... HEHEHE

DM

Actually, it's not geared toward the motorsports very much. DHRA will have a section in the magazine every quarter. We will be reporting about up and coming pullers and racers. We are excited about the opportunity to be included!

thats true, at least there is one finally. it just seems that everytime i open a magizine that says "DIESEL POWER UPGRADES" they just merely plug in a different chip into a superduty (fourwheeler). its a shame because there are a lot of 12v'ers still out there that could use some coverage. anyone else see this? oh well enough griping for a bit. :-{}

eric, congrats on getting your piece of the pie. i look forward to seeing your articles.

I just googled the mag. title and there is a primedia media kit web page. It mentioned that the magazine will be launched with their other truck titles, along with an interesting SEMA diesel market survey.

I take that to mean possibly it will be bundled with the other mags as a bonus to get them out there. I'll be looking.

Ya im sure the 12v articles will be far and few. I mean business wise it makes sense since most people already fixed up their 12v trucks and the new trucks are more availble. However, common sense wise, the 12v engine is a far superior engine in terms or longevity, reliability, and less complexity.

Keep in mind to the SoCal crowd, Duramax is THEE diesel ruling the world (I hear it all of the time). I suggest anyone of you that desires to write a 12v article, email me and I will get you the Editor's information, it doesn't hurt to try! -- email address removed --.

if you like lifted trucks with 22. 5's and redneck graphics, this is the Mag for you- I prefer more "Practical" trucks ones that resal people own and aren't Fabtech, Kelderman or bullydog's show trucks-

Anyone have $70,000 for one of those CXT's?

LOL, try about $98,000 as a starting price. :eek: At that price, why wouldn't just go out and buy a 379 Pete? At least then you would have some functionality and the big rig would be much cooler in my opinion. :cool: Oh well, I guess it's just a status symbol and will probably phase out within a couple of years.
