That bad boy has been tearing up the race circuts! Won Le Mans I think.

Yeah, it won the 24 hrs of LeMans endurance race. A side note, I think I read somewhere that it also used about 30-40% less fuel than the nearest competitor.

Yep, beat the track record at Sebring by two seconds, won LeMans and was undefeated in its debut year-----never been done by anything else I'm pretty certain. Ran the LeMans faster than the gasser it replaced and used less fuel doing it. Awesome car.

... and because of the lower fuel useage, they will probably get some sort of restriction next season [smaller tank, more weight, ???] to make the playing field more even. . bah, let the competition bring their own diesels to the game. .

Yep, an unfair advantage from a car that is longer, heavier, and makes less HP than its competitors. I would have loved to have been floating around the pits all last season to hear some of that whinin' from the gasser gang. :-laf
