Just Paid Over $100.00 To Fill Standard Tank

Has anyone used the "Bio-Willie" Bio Diesel???

Hear in S. E Pa. Diesel is now around $2. 13 a gallon. . WTF??? Have they started with the winter blend and that would cause the price increase?

The winter blend itself does not increase pricing. The demand for home heating oil in the winter months does though.

Diesel is $2. 09 here in SW lower Michigan.

How's 2. 40 grab you? :--)

I'd move, well guys here's my redneck theory, 3 months ago diesel was 20 cents gal cheaper, everyone was runnin up and down the road on vacation burning lots of gas now that has stopped and they gotta gouge somewhere to fill their pockets.

The stinker of this is Hood River is a dang vacation destination now and the price is always a good . 20/. 30 per gl. more than in Portland which is only 45 miles away. Can you say captive audience? And if my wife and I didn't have the jobs we have, we would be outa here in a heart beat.

it is up to $1. 99 here. I remember a couple of weeks ago it was under $1. 70 :(

Can't blame this one on OPEC!!!!!!!!!!!--Good old American price guoging.

The hurricanes didn't help oil production any. That would be part of the problem. Definantly not all though. If the people in the gov't would say FO to the tree huggers, this probably wouldn't be happening. Then we could put up more refineries and pump more oil of our own, instead of relying so heavily on importing it.

wish I had a gasser this winter

I don't miss mine. Only got 8mpg in the winter. The Cummins gets 14-15. 5 in the winter.

Hmmm i agree with price Gouging, like they haven't been doing that. Opec yeah i say there partly to blame, I might be wrong but i don't think that last winter when they started stocking heating oil for winter that diesel jumped this much it was lower than heating oil was, but now in the last week its went through the roof anywhere from 1. 95 to 2. 00 here and in neighboring Nc its 2. 07 its a crock of s*H it anyway you go and i don't care who likes what i say this has gotten to be the worst and i seriously doubt its going to get better anytime soon, guess i will resort to methods usually left along to make it and i don't believe this crap of well you can afford the truck then you should be able to afford the fuel/gas for it, yeah we can afford the fuel and gas for our vehicles if were not getting it took to us from behind. . thats all i gotta say...

Thas Mule is looking better and better for transportation

Crude's at a record high of $51 a barrel. The cheapest I've found here is $2. 33 a gallon, atleast it's coming out of a tractor pump, 1 minute fill up.

$1. 92 up here in Anchorage... I thought that was a bad deal. I feel for some of you guys paying over 2 bucks. Although it won't be long until we're over 2 bucks up here too. Just plain wrong I tell ya.

Bert

Last night the local station was 1. 99, this morning it was 2. 12, glad I filled up last night. Gouging is the only reason for what they are doing. Congress won't say anything, since they all get their kickbacks from big oil, and there isn't any push to develop alternate sources, like bio. We're stuck with it.

Yeah, I got the ole one-two myself. Texaco across the street from home is $2. 279, Chevron down the road is $2. 21.

I drove out to Flying J and took on 60 gallons at $2. 069 to mix with my oil at a 40/60 ratio. That will drop my effective price down to about $1. 20 or so.

I read today where oil topped $53/barrel today. Didn't catch the close of business price, but that sure bodes ill for our wallets.

I haven't tried mixing the veggie with diesel. I bought a filtration kit from www.hydrogenappliances.com which they call AccuSorb beads. You suck the veggie through a 2 micron filter which after I got mine, is the same thing at Sears and Ace Hardware, same cartridge, housing, etc...

I bought their pump because I couldn't find anything on the market anywhere that was better or cheaper. See their web page for info.
