Diesel Prices

Thought it would be good to give the best Diesel prices I have seen. Here in Atlanta there is a quick trip off of I-85 1 exit north of 285 that had a sign for diesel at $1. 31. I havent pulled in there but at that price I would geuss they sell alot of course it is no truck stop so I dont know



In louisiana a couple of weeks ago I beleive diesel was $1. 41 or maybe that was 1. 49. One price that really stands out is there is this small station out in the woods which sells both red and highway diesel and the red was . 99. Man when I saw that . 99 it put me in a tractor beam and I came so close to fueling up. Wouldnt you know it but that wekend I saw 3 road blocks where they were sticking tanks. They never flagged me over only 18 wheelers and dualies, every diesel duallie I saw pulled over was pulling a trailer. My diesel was clean but man were they checking.



Anyway post some good diesel prices for your area.

Here in MD if you look around you can fuel up for around 1. 419, gas prices have stabilized at around 1. 759.

In San Antonio it ranges from $1. 309 to $1. 489. And this is at stations no more than a mile from each other! Diamond Shamrock seems to have the best price at anywhere from $1. 309 to $1. 359. What's funny is all my gas-burning friends seem to get their worst fuel mileage at the Shamrock. But, I'm consistently getting about 1mpg better there than anywhere else.

Since my Cummins gets better mileage (+2. 5) at 65 mph vs. the posted 75 mph loaded up, I've taken to becoming a 'rolling roadblock'--SCREW the oil companies

In the D. C. area, cheapest prices I've seen ranging from $1. 58 in Northern VA, to $1. 34 in Opal -Warrenton area 40 miles outside of town.

Some stations reeeeeeal proud of their fuel... as high as $1. 85 gal

Still better than Gas

The prices in south orange county varies widely. I can get it at an ARCO station by my house at $1. 55, a few 76's run about $1. 75. But if you get close to the freeway in south county, they try and get $1. 95.



Still better than the $2. 20 for gas.

Gas and diesel are essentially the same price here. $1. 679 to about $1. 699 per gallon. Actually the gas is a little cheaper, because ARCO sells a lot of their 10% alcohol product for $1. 659. The two ARCO stations are usually the busiest in town.

i just fueled up this am at the chevron at hickey blvd. off hwy 280 for $1. 62!!!! the cheapest before that i was using was at the serramonte olympian (proly less than 3/4mi away) for $1. 79. 1. 5miles north in san fran prices are above $2!!!!

My brother (an owner operator) tells me he got it for under 1. 25 gal down on rt 295 in southern jersey.

It's about . 10-. 20 more where I am, by Seaside heights. It dropped a few cents in the past few days. Regular gasoline is "down to" 1. 58 at name brand stations.

Fuel taxes in Arizona for trucks #18000 & up with two or more

axles are 26 cents per gallen. Light trucks ,under #18000 are 18 cents a gallen. If you paid 26 cents,get a refund from the clerck.
