Diesel Pro 5" Exhaust

Just got my 5" exhuast on and it sounds great. I love the deep throaty tone. It was easy although you need a welder for the install. and the clearance between the transfer case and frame is very close but it worked

Congratulations, mine was a pain to get together because the shipping company bent one of the pipes just slightly oval and I had to work for about 45 minutes just to get two pieces of pipe slipped together. My local muffler shop didn't have any close to the size of that pipe to help me out. I like the sound of the turbo through the pipe when I shift.

how loud is it? my muffler and resonator got stolen yesterday. nice of 'em to put in a piece of straight pipe, tho. it's LOUD under acceleration. i'll have to go with a muffler after this experiment, i think. i like the tone, just not the volume under acceleration. at a steady speed it is ok and the tone is nice.

I wish I could tell you what it sounded like with a muffler but when they shipped it they forgot the darn thing. Then they put in a filler pipe to make up for it. It sounds deeper than the stock straight pipe but like he said the whistle when you shift is the best

so far haven't been able to locate a source for the diesel pro 5" exhaust. diesel pro website (correct one?) doesn't mention exhaust and looks like a site for detroit engine stuff?? if you could, post a source for the 5" system... ... thanx

Here is where I got mine from DieselPro.net They have a 4 and a 5 inch system with or without the muffler. Mine is the 5 without!
