Jackson Center VFC "Annual Thunderpull" July 17

Ok pullers, the Jackson Center Fire Co. has made a great commitment to help promote truck pulling once again and we need to support them in return. They have commited to making this an annual event and are going to put on a great show. It will be a combination Truck Pull/ Demolition Derby to be held at the Great Stoneboro Fairgrounds which has a history of some great pulling events.
They have also put up a great purse. This shows that they are serious about making this event a major draw each year.

Because of two events that night the pull will begin at 5:00 PM. Gates to pits will open at 3:00 PM with check/weigh-in beginning at about 3:30 PM. General admission opens at 4:00PM.
The Fairgrounds are located on U. S. RT. 62. between Sandy Lake, Pa. and Jackson Center, Pa. From "South" and "West (I-80) to I-79 N. take the U. S. 62 exit East for about 7 miles. From 'North" I-79 Rt. 358 exit east to Sandy Lake, turn right and follow U. S. 62 to fairgrounds. From East I-80 take PA. Rt. 173 N. to Sandy Lake,Pa. then turn left on Rt. 62 West/South to fairgrounds.

Smoker Tractors (N. W. Class/Rules) Purse $1200.
First place $400. 00 Second place $300. 00 Third $200. 00 then $100-$75-$50-$50-$25.
High Proformance 4x4 (N. W. Class/Rules) Purse $800.
First place $250. 00 Second place $175. 00 Third $125. 00 then $100-$75-$50-$25.
Hot Diesel 4x4 (N. W. Class/Rules) Purse $800.
First place $250. 00 Second place $175. 00 Third $125. 00 then $100-$75-$50-$25.
Mod Stock 4x4 (WPTTP Class/Rules) Purse $500.
First place $175. 00 Second place $100. 00 Third $75. 00 then $ 60-$40-$30-$20.
Street Stock 4x4 (WPTTP Class/Rules) OK Street Stockers a lot have asked for nice trophys. There will be beautiful trophies awarded to this class.
