Just got it back together, not bad for 58 years old she is , 1954 moline, runs like a bear, and as you already know, she gets pulled to the fairs and the pulls by my cummins dodge. Just installed a exhaust brake on the truck and it works great so far just driving around empty. Will try it with the tractor behind me a 2 weeks.

REALLY nice looking tractor. . wish we could see stuff like that down here in east texas... around here, people are still plowing and baling with tractors of that age. . or they are cut apart and made into horse walkers.

You can eat off this tractor and its also a full time puller , won the years end points in the 6500 lband 8500 lb points two years ago and 8500 lb i won this year , season starts in a couple of weeks , everyone like the tractor at first, now 1/2 of the guys ***** , oh well - here is a picture of my farmall m i had before and won two championships with that one too but i sold it to a guy out west.

Cool photos!

Gonzo... that close up shot is awesome!

I gotta' ask: the photo of the tractor in post #9 shows the front tires in sort of a "V" shape. I have seen tractors in museums that look like this as well.

Why is that?

When I was a kid around 9 or 10 I attended a fair in Southern Indiana that featured tractor pulls... these photos bring back those times a little... thanks.

the red tractor. Has a narrow. Front end. This is so the front wheels travel between rows of corn or other crops. Many old tractors came that way
