Hello all,

yes I'm a newbie to the forum :)

November last year I purchased a Dodge with experience (210k) and I've done some stuff to it already (replaced the intake with a BHAF, new thermostat, new fuel sending unit, all fluids changed out, new Optima Redtops).

My question is: where's a good diesel shop in TX to have it further checked? (I'm located in West Texas, Alpine, but don't mind going somewhere like Dallas or else, since I have to travel for work anyways). Known issues to still be solved: powersteering seal, cruise control (speed sensor in Tcase bad?). Since I don't know the history of the rig, I'd like to have it checked to see if the dowel pin issue has been taken care of and whether or not other enhancements have been done (GSK, torque plate and such).

Any help is appreciated and excuse me if I don't name things right :)

Yep. I second that. Call Chace at WTTD. . Awesome guy. . With Great Photography skills too!!! Oops. . Did I say that out loud?! hehe

got an appointment at WTTD for this coming Tuesday. So thanks a bunch for all the suggestions. And I'll keep you updated about the outcome :)

got the Dodge taken care of yesterday :)

Obviously the dowel pin had NOT been taken care of -> now it's fixed :)

Some small stuff has been fixed as well (seals, gaskets, radiator hoses etc. ) and some stuff still needs some attention (cruise, transmission cooler lines ... ... )

Now I also know that it's basically stock (or they put it that way again ;))

But at least now I can cruise along with no worries about, at least and last, the dowel pin issue ;)

Thanks a bunch Chase at WTTD for taking care of business and putting up with me all day at the shop and answering all my questions Oo.

And I'll be back for more stuff :D
