Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Diesel Shop Recommendations.

Can anyone recommend a good diesel shop in the Harrisburg Pennsylvania area? I need to have the timing checked/advanced and the usual pump tests done for some milage issues. I'd love to do it myself as you all have laid out what has to be done to increase power and economy, but getting the time is just impossible for me. There is a Cummins service center here but I'm not sure if they will advance the timing beyond 13. 5 (I think) listed on the engine tag. How does timing slip anyhow? Thanks for the advice.

S and M Diesel is located in Port Trevorton which is about 40min north of Harrisburg on 11and15. I know they can set your timing and they can do most other things for your 12valve check them out at s-mdiesel.com Hope this helps

what robert said, if not check out jetpilot on this site, he owns diesel performance warehouse. I think its out in the hershey area... .

if jetpilot doesn't work out, i'll third a vote for massdiesel. Scott/Massdiesel has worked on my truck a couple of times, good outcome, in fact the last time he worked on it, while driving away, i thought, wow, this is different (and good!!! ).
