I need more power out of my 1994 160 hp 12 valve. Haven't found anyone who would grind a plate into a 100 and slide it forward. AFC will need to be tuned, timing set to 15. 5, valves adjusted, etc. Truck is about an hour and a half south west of St. Louis, MO. Does anyone have a name and number for someone familiar with the Bosch P7100 5. 9 Cummins?

Thanks,

Matt

Go to www.midwestdieselperformance.com They are in a town west of St. Louis so they might only be a hour away from you. I have not delt with them but i hear they do good work. They might not be able to grind a 100 plate for you but they can help you with everything else. If they dont help you give me a shout.

St. Louis area?

Thanks CRohwedder,

Does anyone know of a shop or individuals closer to St. Louis? Kansas City is about 5 hours from me.

Thanks,

Matt

There are two shops that I know of in the St. Louis area... the first is MCS Diesel in Gray Summit right off hwy 44 and 109 ask for Kieth (636-451-4144). I havent useed that shop too much personally but a lot of my buddies have. He is a pretty good guy and should be able to do just about everything for you. When I was there last he was working on a twin turbo 12 valve/ 06 superduty conversion, so I think he could handle your stuff.

The other is a shop in the south county area... called Dieselwerks. Ask for Chris, he is a good guy as well and does good work. I would think that he would be able to do most of what you need as well. His # is 314-416-9988. It has been a while since I was down that way but its easy to find I-55 and Meramec Bottom Rd (really more like LeMay Ferry and Meramec B. Rd) but you get the idea.

There is another in St. James, mo that I know of as well.

I've had work done at MCS as well and strongly recommend Keith. He has always taken care of me, even stayed till 11 pm one night helping finish a clutch in my truck while the Cardinals were in the world series! Thats good customer service!

It's worth going to MCS just to see the Super Duty/Cummins conversion. They're aiming for 800 HP with the 12 Valve. Plus talking to Keith.

Thanks guys, just got off the phone with Keith, didn't know his shop had moved and grown! I'm trying to figure out whether i should spend $800 for him to tune the 160 pump or just swap in a 215 and possibly DDP stage 3s. Trying to get as much power as i can while keeping the stock turbo.
