Diesel Wiring for repower?

A friend wants to put a 93 CTD and auto into an older Dodge (78 style ) but doesn't have a parts truck like I do. What have you guys done for wiring modifications when putting the mighty Cummins into an older Dodge? Shadrach

All you need for the diesel is keyed 12 volts to the pump.

For the trans you will need to ground a wire to get OD, and it needs to be removed to let the trans shift down.

What about the relays for the grid heater? Shadrach

You could put those on a switch

Or find a module and wiring out of a 89-91. 5 truck. There's still quite a few in the yards and nobody ever takes the wiring out of them,
