OK folks, some of you know diesel girl, some of the newer members probably don't. She just had her truck painted and she entered it in a show and shine. She won a trophy!Oo.

You need to go to readers rigs and look at the truck.

Way to go Amy!!:) :D

What a great looking truck!!!I love the color. My 83 Mazda RX-7 is a similar color to that. I repainted the car last year and selected that color. I was wondering how I get ahold of dieselgirl?Because I like the rear bench in the truck. It looks like a 2nd gen seat. I want a rear bench and have found(through the registry)a company that makes a seat but that one in dieselgirls truck look a lot nicer. Way to go Dieselgirl that is one beautiful truck!!!I hope when I get mine I can make it look that nice.

Chris

:) :)

That has to be the cleanest 1st gen. CTD I have ever seen!! The truck looks like it has 60 miles on it, not 360k. ... . A well deserved trophy, DieselGirl.

I am probably wrong but

That looks like a C brand rear bench rear seat from early 90's. Just the same the truck looks good!!My 99 doesn't shine that good

With a bumper like that, you know it's a Texas truck. ;)

Great job representing 1st gens! Thanks Amy.

Art

PS I want a back seat just like that only in gray.

Amy and her dad stopped by the other day to show me her truck. It is UNBELIEVEABLE! I could not keep my hands of the paint. It is so smoooooth with no flaws.

The bumper that her dad made for the truck is STOUT. I would not want to be on the recieving end of that thing.

WAY TO GO AMY!

Thanks Guys!!:D

Just wanted to show we can keep our 1st Gens looking as good as these New ones.

CServer is right it is a C Brand Rear seat out of a 97. I have pics of the Bracket we built for it. I bought the seat for $100. If anyone needs pics of it Pm me let me know.

Thanks again Guys:D

Amy

DG, Barry: I see that you are in Granbury - I flew all the way down from the windy city to look at a D350 in Granbury... I ended up buying one from J7 in Stephenville... Do you know any of those guys? - To this day I have never seen a lot with more CTDs for sale! :)

Well I guess it really is a small world becouse While going to Wyoming Tech in Laramie I became friends with a couple guy's from Granbury. You wouldn't happen to know a Brian Blevins from there would ya? Any how your truck is buitifull I only hope to be able to have the time and money to make my trucks look so good. Seth

Yep, you're not going to find a rust-free CTD up here!!... I liked the long trip - it was quite an adventure... The original plan was to see a truck at the Ford dealer in Granbury but they were trying to rip me off!... Good thing I found J7 in the Texas Truck Trader or I would have probably gone home empty-handed... Terry is quite a character with his "colorful" vocabulary (#@$%!).

Hey Amy - did you put a alarm on the truck after you painted it?????? Did you weld the bumper on the truck or did you bolt it on. I hope you put it on with bolts , it will make it easier for me to take it off ----------------------- so I can put it on my truck--------------( long drive but it will be worth it )or what do I need to do to put in a order for one off those front bumpers ( cow catchers as we call them out in the country) Looks good!!!!!!!
