i have a lead on a 8. 3 pump. Are they all p7100's? Will they bolt on a 5. 9?... And what differences do they have?. . I figure the 8. 3 ,if its boltable on to a 5. 9L, will have a higher rating then a 5. 9L . . Any clues?..... If it fits im gonna need a new gear housing to replace my rotary pump in a hurry!!!!!!!!

Hehehe

The C8. 3L uses a P7100, and yes it will bolt to a B5. 9L that was originally equipped with a P7100... . most C8. 3L engines start at 250hp... . so it might give you a little bit of soot on a B5. 9L... . it all depends on the CPL of the C8. 3L it came off of.

Whether or not it will fit your rotary equipped 1st gen 12-valve is up to someone else... .

C8. 3s start at less than 220hp. I would also like to know the differences. I asked Piers why we wouldn't want to use a P7100 off of a 300 hp mptor or a 370, and he said that for a high performance application the 215 pump was best. That still doesn't make any sence though.

mummn well i emailed piers about it im waiting for his reply . . does any one here know how to interpret the part #'s of bosch pumps?. . here are the part #'s if any one knows . . 8. 3 pump #'s

The 19 above may be a A

anyone know? i can't see how the 8. 3 pump wouldn't fit or be a good match for the hi performance we all want sounds weird. . ??

thanks

On a 4430 John Deere Bosch P pump, the pump #'s start out like PES6A 95D410R... ... The 95 that comes after the PES6A is supposed to stand for 9. 5mm plungers and barrels. If that is the case, then the pump your looking at should have 12mm plungers and barrels. Don't hold me to that but I found a pump off of a 4455 JD and the numbers were 10 instead of 95. I put it on the 4430, turned the screw, and now I can plow in a higher gear. The factory pump had already been turned up professionally about 15% and it still didn't hold a light to the new pump. Just my thoughts. :D

mummn cool thanks i hope your right smoker. . piers hasn't replied yet he's probably busy... any one else # any pump #'s ... . ??

damn 12mm plungers huh?. . what does a stock 215hp dodge pump have in it?... . mummn what are the biggest 12valve injectors?. . 370 black diamonds?. . dave michells?. . those lucas prince of darkness?... etc. . im gonna try a ford power stroke intercooler in it and im getting a variable nozzle turbo off a detroit series 50 gen set ( 4cyl ) that was rated at 260hp at 1800rpm. . hehe its big and it would make a sweet large turbo for a twin setup. . my stock first gen 18cm and the 50 series hehehe should be a fast first gen huh???

Keep in mind the fact that in order for you to run the 8. 3 injection pump on your first gen truck( providing that you still have the factory rotary pump), you are going to have to buy a new timing housing, cover, and pump gear that is for a B series with a P pump.
