Ok, here's the reason for the lame question. I have a coolant leak that is coming from between the water pump and the block. I haven't been able to locate a listing for a o ring for my truck, but have found a listing for a 1st gen truck. Does anyone know of any differences between the two? My pump checks out fine as far as bearing play goes, plus I really thought it should last longer than 115K, so I really don't want to toss a perfectly good unit. I guess it would be cheap insurance. Any idea how long one of these pumps should last. If it's at the end of it's life I'll just swap it out while I'm in there, but if they go 2 or 300K I'd like to just do the o ring. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks
