Difference in 05 to 06 truck?

Is there a difference in turbo size or anything between a 05 and 06. Just installed a spearco intercooler and it was supposed to be for 06 but when we got it bracket didn't line up as in the frame was narrower on the 06 and called turbonetics and they said they didn't even make one for the 06 yet but with a little mods :-laf got it in there BARELY so just wondering on differences. thanks

You discovered what is different, the inner body structure is different to go with the new fenders/hood/bumper on the '06. Engines and turbos are the same.
