EDM stands for Electro Discharge Machine. This is a process where an electrically charged wire burns the holes in the injector.



I believe A honed injector is an EDM injector that has the additional step of honing to smooth out any inconsistence and make the holes smooth and uniform. This may be oversimplifiying the process a bit.
