The biggest turbo you can run depends on what other mods you have, and also what you do with the truck, for instance, do you tow? If you fill out your sig, we can tell you more.
I have a airraid intake,5" exhaust glacier fuel system and big line kit,BBD crazy larry stacked with 140 hp quad race box, upgraded trans soon head studs or high strength bolts and maybe a little nitrous I do not tow with the truck. It is my weekend toy and I use to sled pull so a turbo that is sluggish down lown may be ok I dont want a turd
there are several differences, the sps from II has a bigger stronger shaft, better bearings, and a higher flowing wheel and housing to name a few. hope this helps. thanks
Justin do u think that the A5000 can be streetable? Im lookin hard at this turbo and im not gonna be towin a whole lot till i get a 5th wheel camper but that wont be for a long time.
Well, its streetable to me. If you have an auto I have heard that they surge like heck. If you are going to tow I really dont know what to say. There is a guy over on DTR that runs an A5K and has towed heavy with it, his name is "cquestad".
