Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Difference in weight between auto and stick??

What is the weight difference between a nv4500 and an auto transmission? Anybody know?

The NV4500 is about 200lbs.

I would think they have to weight pretty close to the same. I didn't think the NV4500 weighed that much, but maybe with the bellhousing still intact it is up to 200 lbs.

My Advance Adapters install guide says the dry weight is 195lbs. They don't specify if the bellhousing is part of that weight, but it doesn't add that much more in any case.

Get the manual, and get the fifth gear nut fixed before you install it.



The manual really is the way to go.
