Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Differences in stock turbos??

I have an HX35 off my 1999 and I would like to get and identical turbo. Do I need to get a turbo off of another 1999? Or does a 2000 or 2001 or anything else have an identical turbo? I believe there are differences in exhaust housing sizes, but I am not sure of what the differences may be.



And if someone has one they don't need...



Any help would be appreciated.

All HX35's from 1998. 5-2002 are 12cm housings. The HY35's are 9cm.

01 and 02 automatics came with the HY35s, everything else should of come with a hx

california trucks come with a 54mm wheel, the rest of the federal trucks have a 56mm.
