Differential, Install new bearings 2003 American axle

Would some one with a shop manial send me a pdf file of procedure for rebuild.
Will the Dana differential spreader work on the American axle differential

No spreader needed, the axle has adjuster nuts for preload.

Ozymandias, Do you have a cut away to show the internal adjusters?

Easy compared to the old Dana design, i did it with a phillips screw driver.

Na, not even a tool, just a screw driver I push through the holes if the adjuster nut.
Preload is very little on this axle, the torque that can applied with my tool is plenty.

Thanks for you help. I have just now developed a whine. Seems to have come on fairly quickly. Cant tell much difference in pulling or coasting. I wonder if it is the tires, but don't believe so. Cant b that lucky. Do u have the torque required for pinion and total of pinion and carrier.
