2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Dilema.... Suggestions needed

Ok my Diprocol fuel pressure guage is toast. I read an earlier post about the internals can bend if the guage stays at the max reading for too long and mine has many times. The P. O. S isolator went a long time ago. I need to replace the whole thing now and I really don't want to get into buying an isolator every other year. I could run without the isolator but will the guage hold up to bio.

I could go with an electrical but I am not sure on the dependability and I am not reall impressed with the Westach guage. I like the Dirpocol and would like to go with another one but as stated having to replace the isolator on a continuing basis really stinks.

So today I am asking for guidance from the TDR diesel maniacs, who is running what and how long has it held up or any other ideas.

I also have the diprocol guages am happy with them. never had a isolater installed. what press are you pegging the guage at? mine is a 0-30 psi they had less psi guages but i wanted it to run @ 50% of capacity of the guage.

The problem started out with the isolator failure. There are times when the guage was reading normal 13psi at idle then it would start climbing to the max. This would happen more in the summer than winter. I read an earlier post that if the guage stays at max for any length of time it would bend the internal parts of the guage. I guess that happened due to the guage only reading 11lbs at idle now. It heads for the max alot more now than it did.

If I run w/out an isolator with a new guage I am wondering if it will hold up to B100. Not sure if the guage will like the bio or not.

i don't think it would be a probablem with B100 sinse it is not the fuel yhat controls the guage but rather the pressure of the liquid.

FP Guage

Westach #16 12V electric here. 3 years and no problems what so ever FWIW. Not the prettiest guage but has been trouble free & alot less expensive than the others... .
