dimmer switch wire

Installing boost an transmission. temp guages . Need location dimmer wire to gauges. Have Headlight switch out. Which wire anyone? Bob

In the newer trucks the dimmer wire is "Tan" in color, off the light switch. Might try looking for a tan wire and confirming it with a volt/ohm meter...

Tan is Good

Manual says it's an 18 ga tan wire, you can also pick it up at the fuse block from fuse #14 (3amp).
