2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Dimming Dome Light

I was just wondering if anyone has figured out how to make the the second generation ('99) trucks dome light dim like the third generations when they go out? I like that Cadillac style feature.

You might try asking some of the 3rd gen guys if they have serviced what every module controls that function.
