I couldn't believe it. Diesel is around $3. 42 here in Bothell. Just a couple of miles away, there is a Shell station that is usually a few cents higher than anyone else for gas. They dont sell diesel. But, they sell biodiesel. When I drove by there yesterday, they were selling biodiesel for $3. 15. And, yes. It is their current price.

Biodiesel scares me. There are too many variables. Is it fresh? Who made it and to what standard? What has been done to make sure there is no water in it? A friend spent a mint getting his tractors staightened out because of it. I can't afford to take a chance with it at any price. Mark

Valid concerns - a potential user needs to know what industry standards are in place, who checks them - and what available options there are if non-standard stuff is being sold...

Thats a good point. But here in washington, all diesel has to be (I believe its) 5% biodiesel. And, I think this particular supplier is the company that supplies everyone with bio. But, I think Ill try to find out before I actually go get some
