My sensor came with those tiny plastic zip ties. Although I no long use that type of sensor the zip ties worked well. Get them tight and they don't come off. They would never get past the filter any way.

I wasn,t sure what to use. Somebody said
to use shrink tubing also. I guess as long as it don,t melt it,s ok.
I,m just going to be useing it for a short time, one trip out your way.

To be safe put the first tie right above the sensor where the wire enters. I tied right on the sensor after the shrink tubing slid off and it stayed but thats up to you. You talk like you won't have it on there that long so it won't make much of a difference. I'm just leaving for the beach so if you want to talk any more email me at arlan1@pocketmail.com
 
Is anybody useing the dipstick sensor? I
got one i want to use until my frist trans service. I,m not sure how to keep it on the stick, I don,t want anything to in up in the trans. Got it used no instruction.
