Has anyone had any problems with DiPriocol gauges?

I asked the dealer to install them on my truck and their supplier claims that they are a pour quility gauge and the dealer keeps trying to get me to go with Auto Meter guages.

I have their gauges and I like them, they are not poor quality. The back lighting could be a little more even between the different gauges, but I believe they have corrected that with the new "optix" series. I have not heard a bad word about autometer gauges, but I do not believe they will match the factory setup as well as dipricol!

I have the Diprocol Optix Rail Pressure gauge along with 4 Autometer Ultra-Lite gauges. The Autometer gauges have functioned well for over two and a half years now. The Diprocol has only been on for a few months, but has worked fine so far. The Optix kit and visible quality of the guage is excellent. The Optix is a closer to stock look at night for sure and a little easier to read. If I replace any of the Autometer gauges I will probably go with the Diprocol Optix, but nothing wrong with the Autometer gauges for function.

Don't have a night picture for comparison, maybe I will remember and take one.

I have one of their Optix transmission temperature gauge and have had no problems whatsoever with it. The Optix gauge includes a dimmer which allows you to adjust the backlighting to suit your preferences. Order their wiring harness along with the gauge to make for a painless installation.

The Phantom is close, the phantom II is supposed to be closer (with the green jell on the light). I think I should of gone with the phantom II's but I wasn't a fan of the big numbers at first

My new rail pressure gauge looks bad ***. I love the lighting schema, but the colors are not close at all to a 3rd gen dash cluster.

I would personally now go with Dipricol for all gauges, but I dis-like mechanical low pressure fuel, so either I stick with all autometer and one Diprocol, or all Diprocal and one auto meter.

I have Dipricol boost transmission and egt gauges. The only issue I have had with my gauges is that the EGT was getting very inaccurte. The problem was excessive soot on the thermocouple. Cleaned off the soot and it has worked good ever since. (about a year)

I've had two set's of the Di/Pro's (in two different trucks). I loved both sets. I've seen the Optix in action, and they look stellar.

I've never ever heard anything negative about di/pro. In my opinion, the person who is trying to push the AutoMeters has bad information about Pricol.

Also FWIW, I've had good luck with AutoMeters in the past too. For me it would be a personal preference between the two. They are both good quality gauges.

I had them in my last truck my dad has had them in both of his trucks great quality but the illumination on the pre-optix series wasnt great. They are a good match for the dodge. My dad put isspro in my moms truck but the di-pricol match better. My opinion of autometer gauges is they suck I had them in my Grand GTP and was constantly having problems and the physical appearance even looked cheap.

I have the Optix trans temp, pyro, and boost gauges and they look and work very well. However, the lighting isn't what it should be, especially for the trans temp gauge. It has a more purple tint to it and doesn't match the others as well as it should, even with the individual dimmer switches. At the time I bought mine, the dimmers weren't included and came as part of a complete harness that was around $60. Other than that, they're worth the investment and I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

I have Optix, and they work good.

I think that if you stick with any of the big name companies you will be fine, anybody can get the Monday gauge though.

Why the guy says Di Pricol are no good perhpas he had one of those Monday gauges.

I have gone rounds with them with my non working pyro, 13 months old they said tuff luck. It sure is hard to beat Autometers customer support.
