I recently installed a DiPricol Trans Temp gauge. After a few days I noticed that the center of the gauge was getting blurry. I thought it might be condensation but it is not. I went back to my local vendor and got a replacement. I went on a three hour trip with a trailer. I was watching the gauge closely and the same thing happened. It became blurry. I suspect that the light in the gauge is causing this. Maybe the heat is affecting the lense. I think I will try another manufacturer.

Has anyone else experienced this?

my trans gauge does the same thing, I currently have two egts, boost, trans and differential, but my trans is the only one that has the condensation in it. The weather affects it I guess, it did it this morning, but nothing happened when the big rains were here a few weeks ago. It really doesnt bother me because by the time I get my truck to normal opertating temp it goes away.

Maybe I should make it an issue though.

Mine also gets extremely warm. If it is condensation, it has not gone away. But it does not look like moisture inside there.
