I was looking for a white faced DiPricol 0-100 PSI electric oil pressure gauge just last week. The answer I got from Chris Wilkerson at www.extremedieselproducts.com was that DiPricol does not currently make the gauge that I want and that there is no production date set. He did mention that DiPricol would manufacture them for an order of 25 or more gauges though.

After reading the reports on the way my oil pressure gauge works, put me on the list of 25 to purchase the new gauge!

I didn't figure that I could come up with 25 interested people so I never bothered to ask . I just emailed Chris and will post the info when I get it (unless he posts first).

How hard would it be to wire a new sender to the existing gauge? Would this open a whole can of worms? The original really is bogus, although I ungerstand why they do it.

The "sender" on the block is actually just a switch. The threshold is 6 psi.

You guys hit the nail on the head as to why I was looking for an oil pressure gauge. I like the way the new DiPricol white face gauges match the factory installed gauges.

Count me in on a gauge if we can get 25 folks.

If not, I will just go with the Autometer Phantom series as they offer oil pressure, fuel pressure, EGT, and boost and are a decent match to the factory units. At least in the daytime.

Dale, thanks for checking into this for us! :)

Doesn't look too promising...

Well, I heard back from Chris. Unfortunately DiPricol doesn't seem to want to talk money unless we're going to order right then and there:mad:. I can't, in good conscience, ask anyone to commit to buying anything without being able to give them a firm price.

I guess I'll give Autometer a look too. It won't match the other gauges I've got... but it's better than the mechanical idiot light that came from the factory. Sorry.
